Qiantang Campus Library
Second floor: Newspaper reading room/Zhechuan Library
There are more than 2,000 Chinese periodicals and 110 foreign periodicals in the reading room of newspapers and periodicals, including journalism and communication, humanities and social science, and leisure.There are nearly 280 kinds of newspapers, all of which are open shelves for reading. The publications are only for indoor reading but not for borrowing. There are 150 reading seats inside.Teachers and students can use the library card to read.
Room 202 on the second floor of the south wing of the library is the exhibition hall of "Library of CommunicationUniversity of Zhejiang", which displays academic works of teachers, students and alumni ofCommunicationUniversity of Zhejiangto convey academic information of the discipline of media.
Third floor: open shelf library
The collection of art, journalism, literature and other paper books.
Fourth floor: Information literacy classroom, seminar room/audio-visual reading room/electronic reading room
Room 403 to 409 on the fourth floor are the seminar rooms in the information sharing space, where teachers and students can make reservations by phone or on site for group learning, communication, collaboration and research.
There are 40 TV sets, 40 VCDsets, 40 VCRS and 40 seats in the audio-visual reading room of the library. There are nearly 50,000 volumes of audio-visual materials, including teaching feature films, film material feature films, documentaries, cartoons, Chinese and foreign classical music, pop music and dance.Audio-visual materials can be borrowed by teachers and students and played in the audio-visual reading room.
There are 50 computers in the electronic reading room, which provides a place for teachers and students to search for materials, browse electronic books on the Internet and browse information on the Internet, so that teachers and students can obtain information quickly and efficiently.

It contains general natural science, mathematics, physics and chemistry, biological science, medicine and health, agricultural science, transportation, aviation and other paper books.

In the collection of Marxism-Leninism philosophy, general social science, military, ec-onomic, comprehensive and other paper books.
Eighth floor: reference books, special collection room
The collection of reference books of various disciplines, rare ancient books, ordinary ancient books, books of the Republic of China and publications in liberated areas and other collection resources, as well as "Sikuquanshu", "Sikuban destroyed Books series" and other rare books, books of the Republic of China and other special collections, for teachers and students to provide collection of ancient books literature reading and information inquiry services.
There are desks and chairs in each open-shelf library for the convenience of teachers and students.In addition, there are 8 study rooms on the first and second floors of the library, with nearly 1600 seats. The rooms are air-conditioned and the environment is bright and clean. The study rooms are open to teachers and students from 8 a.m to 10p.mevery day. In order to make teachers and students can use library resources fairly, teachers and students should do "peoplein withthe book, peopleout withthe book", consciously do not take the place of booksas your seat, and jointly create a good learning atmosphere.
Tongxiang Campus Library
The building structure ofTongxiang Campus Library is round outside and square inside. Central-air-conditioning is everywhere in every corner of the library. The envir-onment inside the library is elegant and quiet.
First floor: The library of Tongxiang Campus adopts the big access control management mode. The entrance is located at the south gate. Teachers and students need to enter the library by swiping their one-card card.There are five collection inquiry machines in front of the West Gate Hall and the main service desk respectively to provide library collection, borrowing and returning information services for teachers and students. On the north side of the first floor is a self-study room that can accommodate 400 students.
On the second floor: in the north is the electronic reading room, which can accommodate 200 people. Teachers and students need to surf the Internet with a one-card card, and they can inquire database, download CDS with books, and burn CDS, etc., providing perfect network services for teachers and students.
The third floor: The general service desk provides services such as borrowing and returning, consulting, copying and printing . To the east is the first library, which contains books on history, geography and industrial technology.To the south is the newspaper reading room, which contains all kinds of new periodicals, new newspapers and reference books. To the west is the hall where the main service desk is located, providing teachers and students with a full range of services such as borrowing and returning, consulting, copying and printing. To the north is the second library, which respectively houses cultural and language books.
Fourth floor: there are four stacks in the southeast and northwest of the fourth floor of the library. The third and fourth stacks all contain literature books.The fifth library contains art books; The sixth library contains books on Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong thought、politics and military, medicine and health, nature and comprehensive.
Fifth floor: the curator's room, office, meeting roomare in theeast and south.
