The library of CUZcurrently has two libraries, Qiantang Campus Library and Tongxiang Campus library, which are located in Xiasha Higher Education Park of Hangzhou and Tongxiang city, a famous city in south China.

The library of Qiantang Campus is composed of a 10-story main building and a 2-story podium building.It has 4book-stacks, 2 reading rooms, 6 study rooms and 1 information sharing space (including 7 seminar rooms). In 2018, we will launch data management services and set up new data centers. After the organizational reform in 2019, thelibraryhas eight departments: Office, Education and Training Department, Reader Service Department, Information Consulting Department,Book purchasing and catalogingDepartment, Technology Department, data center and school history Museum.

The library of Tongxiang Campus has 10book-stacks, 2 reading rooms, 3 self-study rooms and 9 study Spaces in stacks. It has two departments: general office and reader service department.

Qiantang Campus library and Tongxiang Campus library have realized the sharing of electronic resources and paper books.As an important support for teaching and scientific research, the library is making great strides towards the goal of building a well-known multi-disciplinary university library with distinctive features, obvious advantages and the focus on cultivating radio, film and television and cultural creative talents, with media and art majors as the main subjects.

In June 2019, the library changed its name to The Library (Graphic and Text Information Center, School History Hall), and the school history Hall, Radio and Television Exhibition Hall, teaching Achievements Hall and the library have been combined for unified management and operation. The library has entered a brand new historical stage.

By inviting experts, professors and carrying out activities such as "I will help you meet the books you need" among students, the library's collection of books is becoming more reasonable and more in line with the characteristics of the school and the actual needs of students.In order to meet the needs of the new media era, libraries begin to pay attention to reading products of other media, and gradually change from the traditional collection structure of paper literature to the structure of paper literature, electronic books and audio and video materials, so as to keep the structure of paper literature and digital resources reasonable.

Through the construction of digital library portal, effective integration of resources, platforms, application systems, to provide intelligent, personalized, transparent services for users，and at the same time according to the teaching characteristics of the school, the library takes media video resources as its content feature and makes full use of all kinds of resources to provide multimedia information such as text information, graphics and images, animation and sound, so as to facilitate teachers' comments on homework and students' communication and display of works. According to the specific situation of school discipline and specialty setting, the document guarantee rate of key discipline and characteristic specialty should be improved.

At present, the library has a total collection of 1.716 million paper books, 1.643 million Chinese and foreign electronic books, 1.19 million electronic periodicals, 46 Chinese and foreign language databases, 80046 hours of audio and video, electronic resources and paper books have been shared between the two campuses.The continuous enrichment of the library meets the teaching and research needs of the university and makes the Library become a regional radio, film and television data center in China.
